For nearly 30 years, Truffles Catering has developed a strong presence and reputation for providing a premier wedding experience on Vancouver Island.
As the flagship company for The Truffles Group, we catered our first event in 1992 and quickly earned a reputation on Vancouver Island for our delicious food, artful presentation and exceptional service. We appreciate the history and heritage of the island and as we have grown alongside the region, we have established deep ties to the communities within it.
Our success is the direct result of consistently delivering responsive, quality catering services to our clients in Victoria, Canada and internationally.
We have a strong understanding of utilizing sustainable practices in food.
Our chef purchases from local suppliers who can deliver products that meet our commitment to sustainability. All of our meat and fish are prepared with care in our in-house kitchen.
We source quality Ocean Wise certified seafood products as a top priority.
Our culinary leaders have a deep knowledge of emerging food trends both locally and internationally and integrate fresh ideas with our Canadian West Coast specialties.

Truffles Catering has maintained a commitment to innovation in environmental stewardship since the inception of its sustainability program in 2008. This program encompasses management principles for purchasing, transportation, waste, energy and water, community involvement and climate action.
- Attained the highest certification level from the Vancouver Island Green Business Certification Program.
- Achieved a 34% reduction in carbon emissions since our 2011/2012 report.

- We bring sustainable seafood to your plate that is certified Ocean Wise certified.
Truffles works to create the green standard for “low impact” events by successfully diverting 95% of waste through the adoption of a comprehensive composting and recycling system used in-house and on-site at events.
Truffles sources from suppliers that share our vision for sustainability. We look for partners who are committed to sustainable innovation and integrity, and who produce natural and ethical foods. All of our sandwich meats are preservative and additive free and we source quality Ocean Wise certified seafood products as a top priority.
Truffles uses Energy Star appliances that are well maintained to further conserve energy. In 2012, our entire facility underwent a major lighting retrofit which will save the equivalent of two single family households’ worth of annual energy use.
We believe giving back to the community contributes to the betterment of Vancouver Island and its residents.
With your help, every month we donate to a featured local non-profit through our coffee purchasing community program with Level Ground Trading.
For every pound of coffee we purchase (served at our events, Habitat Café and through our express catering), we donate $1 to rotating community partners.
